LOGO WORK
I always try to create something artistic, intriguing and speaks to what the service or brand is about. I love logos and especially logos from yesteryear. My love for vintage logos is rooted in the true craftsmanship and skill that was once in that era. The idea that corporate branding can be repurposed to symbolize anything.

As my love for the art of logos and wordmarks continue, so do the iterations. Endless varieties, some still evolving and morphing.
VAMP LOGO
For this, I did one of my favorite techniques with an already existing font… gave it more character (pun intended). I literally gave the font bell bottoms. Take a further look at the evolution. The original logo was just a font. That was far too un-original for such an amazing and cool shop.
Class Development
In my continued desire to learn I’ve continued to take classes to both refresh my skills and learn new styles. For my Community College classes I tried to make some new logos for surrounding businesses in the area. These are samples of some ideas and developments.
SIM GRAPHICS
Originally a website redesign, I decided to create a new logo to help bring them to the forefront of today’s technological design standards. They have since raised over 120k in crowd funding for their A.I. real time interactive character business service. Included is the original logo and implementation in some of their pitch videos.
THE ORIGINAL ARTFORMS
I have lots of love for font creation, typesetting, letterpress and the printing conventions of yesteryear. I’m still trying to capture those specific styles and effects even in our modern day and digital enviroment.
DOING IT FOR THE LOVE
After starting with my dads Apple computer back when I was a teenager, I got into printed media, flyers, and posters. I even got to experience Letraset! Much of it was music related publications. I’m still, after all these years doing it because I love the art form. I am STILL not beyond doing free artwork for local rock and roll bands.
ANIMATING LOGOS
Taking all I know about logos and design, it has been incredibly exciting to venture into motion graphics, animation and videography.
